Dear All,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee of the China Workshop of Gastric Cancer 2025 (CWGC-2025), I am delighted to invite you to participate in our meeting in Shanghai, China, 31 October – 1 November 2025.
Since its inception, CWGC has served as one of leading platforms in China for sharing innovative research and clinical advances in gastric cancer. The 2025 workshop will concentrate on perioperative treatment of advanced gastric cancer and related surgical issues.
Planned discussion themes include:

  1. Optimal neoadjuvant strategies for locally advanced or oligometastatic gastric/gastro-esophageal-junction adenocarcinoma (liver, peritoneum, para- aortic lymph nodes, etc.)
  2. Perioperative treatment for special histologic subtypes (Borrmann IV, signet ring cell, diffuse type, etc.)
  3. Surgical indications and timing of surgery
  4. Appropriate extent of surgery (gastrectomy, lymph node dissection, combined organ resection)
  5. Management of clinical or pathological complete response (cCR/pCR)
    In addition, we warmly invite you to visit our hospital to observe minimally invasive surgeries for gastrointestinal cancers. We look forward to exchanging surgical techniques and sharing clinical experiences with you.
